Our story
Oude Blaar is an ecoprinting home industry rooted in the rural Eastern Cape. We print our linenware directly from nature by transferring pigments in the leaves of different trees, flowers and shrubs to the fabric. No artificial colours, no chemicals.
Each product is different, so when you buy from our range, you are introducing a totally unique touch to your home.
What is Eco-printing
Eco-printing is a natural dying technique where leaves are pressed onto fabric, transfering their colors and shapes through heat and moisture
How to care for your product
The following must be adhered to: - wash only when necessary, by hand, in cool water, using a pH neutral soap (eg Woolite) - do not scrub or wring - dry flat out of direct sunlight - do not iron - do not leave exposed to direct sun
